Parents' Fellowship
The
Parent/Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is a subcommittee established by
the School Board. The Parent/Teacher Fellowship holds two stated
meetings each year during the general membership meetings. One
meeting is held mid-winter and the other at the end of school.
Other informal meetings can be held when programs are presented
and activities coordinated.
The School Board Chairman appoints parents each summer to serve
in the upcoming academic year. Their main duties will be to
facilitate parent assistance in the classrooms and to raise
monies for the school. PTF programs and fund-raisers are subject
to the approval of the School Board.
Mission Statement
Rutland Area Christian School is committed to the historic Christian perspective of life as set forth in the Bible, recognizing God as the Creator of all things, and Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of all who acknowledge Him as Lord. It holds that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, that fellowship with God is the basis of true community, and that each student is uniquely created by God as a physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual being and is thus endowed with particular talents.
